WHAT IS THE CASE ABOUT? 

It is about two co-workers, Rebecca and Abhinav. Rebecca is telling Abhinav that he must complete a customer service training for their employees by two weeks, initially, Abhinav thinks that is almost impossible to complete the training, but then, he ends to agree with Rebecca, then Rebecca ask him how’s it going and Abhinav tells her that it has been a lot of delays in the work, due to the Monsoons.

               

Did Abhinav agree to the initial timeline requested by Rebecca?

No, he initially says that the timeline Rebecca is requesting is a Little “aggressive”, so he doesn’t think he can complete the training. But then he ends to agree with her.

What might Abhinav be thinking about Rebecca? 

Abhinav might thought that Rebecca was a little harsh with the deadline for the training, especially because he is telling her about the monsoons and she did not understand.

How will this incident affect their future interactions?

It will affect because Rebecca might think that Abhinav is not capable to complete a job in order and In time, especially that he may be giving excuses, so, Rebecca will not trust in Abhinav anymore, and after that she may not think in Abhinav in the future for other projects.

Write report and a series of recommendations as Intercultural consultants for this company. 

We as a consultants, recommend, first of all, if the company is going to have different executives in different parts of the world, they should have meetings introducing basic information about the culture. Especially because they’ll be interacting most of the time. Second: give training so that workers have better ways to communicate, what happened in this case, was that both sides took things for granted, believed that the other side fully understood the situation and there was conflict. 


I think that working in group is better than working alone, because it is fastest and organized to put the information because each member of the group puts their own information and it reinforce the communication with others.
i like a lot working like that because it is simple and easiest than working individual, i worked very satisfieced with my team, and we think that working like this is better not for only a homework also for the cases in the real life that we need others to do better things!
